Angry Beavers Needle Felt Commission

I am so, so happy with how Norb and Dagg turned out, I grew up with the cartoon, so jumped at the chance to make them, but oh man do I have a love/hate relationship with their needle felt counterparts, lol!
They're the largest projects I've ever taken on, at approx. 15-16" tall. Daggett went up without any trouble, really, but Norbert's spikes gave me all sorts of trouble! They're both free-standing, but Norb's spikes put extra weight on the back and so to counteract the backwards lean, I had to reinforce his tail so he wouldn't collapse.

Really, though, the main problem I encountered was needing to order in extra wool for both their bodies only to find the shop no longer sold felting wool and trying to persuade the woman to get me more was a bit of a nightmare that took a couple of weeks to resolve and ship, which meant I went quite a bit over my time estimate for my client, but she was very understanding and patient with the whole process! I love lovely clients!

But here they are - done, and I'm very happy with how they turned out in the end!
